Culoe de Song

Born in the northern parts of South Africa’s east coast, Culoe De Song began his music career in early 2007 after producing “100 Zulu Warriors”- a piece featured on Black Coffee’s offering, “Have Another One”. The single met with great success, and soon after the release, Culoe was performing alongside international acts such as Rocco & Manoo.

At only 17, Culoe De Song was selected from applicants all over the world to attend the Red Bull Music Academy in Barcelona, Spain. Since that time, Culoe De Song has garnered critical acclaim from DJ’s and dancers alike with productions such as “The Bright Forest”, “Super Afro”, “African Subway”, “Dragon’s End”, the “Let Me Go EP” (released on Boddhi Satva’s Offering Recordings) and “A Giant Leap” which was nominated for a SAMA (South African Music Award).

Culoe de Song has already achieved so much in the very early years of his career, and yet he is just getting warmed up. The world eagerly awaits what is sure to be an amazing future for this extremely talented musical prodigy.
